highway 9 and Bible Church RD

Boiling Springs, SC

In 2017 this 72-acre tract located off Highway 9 in Boiling Springs was approved as a mixed-use development featuring commercial, apartments, townhomes, and single-family homes. 

 

The commercial property (17 acres) features a Publix and other outparcels set up for gas, restaurants and retail stores. . Peachtree Village (12 acres) includes 252 luxury apartments units built by Creative Builders.

 

Peachtree Townes (12 acres) includes 82 townhome lots built by Dan Ryan Builders, and Orchard Valley (27 acres) a 31 lot single-family community built by Crescent Homes.

Throughout this project we worked with Spartanburg Water and a neighboring developer to install a pump station and sewer main extension to serve our project and now provides neighboring property owners with sewer access.

 

We recently closed on a 67-acre site abutting Peachtree Village and are developing plans for more apartments, townhomes, and single-family homes. 

river RESERVe at pelham

Greer, SC

River Reserve is a 40-acre development that includes scenic views and river lots along the Enoree River. Located in Greer, adjacent to the old Pelham Mill site, the property was annexed in to the City and zoned Design Review District (DRD) in April 2017.

We spent more than a year refurbishing existing mill homes, widening roads and improving the entrance landscape before contracting with Empire Homes to build out the 61 single family lots.

gateway village

Travelers Rest, SC

Both properties are located adjacent to Gateway Elementary in Travelers Rest. Hawkins Park (8 acres and zoned Residential Multifamily) includes 62 townhomes built by Lennar.

Gateway Park (12 acres and zoned Townhome District) includes 58 townhome lots built by Dan Ryan.

We worked diligently with environmental groups to complete this project while ensuring the protection of the bunched arrowhead, an endangered plant species.

Greer, SC

The development includes 25 single-family lots and is located adjacent to the Willow Creek Golf Course in Greer.

​

The original developer installed some subdivision infrastructure before abandoning the project due to bankruptcy in 2008. The property was idle for 10 years before it was purchased in 2018.

​

After just three months, we were able to complete the infrastructure work and secure the proper county permits to begin home construction. We partnered with Apex, Trust Homes and Crescent Home to successfully complete the community.

Fountain Inn, SC

This community includes 46 townhome lots and is in Fountain Inn. Launched by another developer who contracted with Dan Ryan Builders (DRB), the project languished for two years until Crown became involved.

​

We assumed property ownership, contracted with DRB and worked hand-in-glove with the city to obtain necessary approvals to begin construction. From start to finish, we completed development in less than a year.
